To further our community’s commitment to protecting and preserving our quality of life and environment, the Walton County Tourism Department established Keep Walton County Beautiful in 2024 as an official affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. The preservation of Walton County’s natural landscapes allows residents and visitors to enjoy the area for generations to come.

Keep Walton County Beautiful is now an official affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, a leading national nonprofit that inspires and educates people to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment since 1953. KAB envisions a country in which every community is a clean, green and beautiful place to live. If you live in or have visited Walton County, you know that the county’s natural environment is its greatest strength, and that must be maintained. Keep Walton County Beautiful functions as an official affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc., empowering individuals to take greater responsibility of their protection and enhancement of their local communities.

Keep Walton County Beautiful encourages the community to voluntarily work to improve the physical and visual landscape of our community, primarily through beautification, recycling, litter prevention, waste reduction and cleanup efforts throughout the county. Whether you’re an individual, association, corporation, partnership or estate having an interest in the mission of KWCB, we encourage you to join the effort.
